The champagne and golf have come together today thanks to the first open Almenara golf Freixenet organized the prestigious event atSotogrande. The tournament was played under the Stableford Individual mode with the participation of 70 players. The weather was perfect for this sport, was one of the outstanding aspects of the day, where participants enjoyed the most of the routes of Almenara. The tournament was a success, as the participants gave the best of themselves to qualify for great prizes to be handed out at the awards ceremony. In fact, even one player, Peter Andlau, got a hole in one, a feat which was in fantastic prize of Freixenet. The award ceremony was attended by Irene Lara, head of golf at Almenara, Josщ Gil de Sotogrande SA and Alan Garcia of Freitxenet Andalusia. The tournament winner was Josщ Ramѓn Carmona, with 43 points and tied for second place David Liu and George D'Anthes. The prize for the best ranking went to Borja Ocaёa scratch.
